Connect
Connections are vital to a full life. The early church was tight – they supported and loved each other so much that the world noticed and wondered what they had. Being a part of a church means being a part of a close community where people support and encourage each other. But in our technological society, individualism and isolation are growing and it is common for people to attend a church and never really know anyone there. The Gathering is intentional about encouraging community and close relationships.

At the Gathering, there are three primary ways to connect.
Gatherings are informal one-time groups that meet at a restaurant to eat and discuss a topic. It is a great way to meet some new friends and have a stimulating discussion about a current sermon topic.
Life Groups are weekly or bi-weekly groups that are long-term and meet in homes for Bible study and prayer. Groups are scheduled to form in May, 2009.
The Alpha Course is a ten-week course in Christianity. It is a meal, a video presentation, and a small group discussion.
